Our visual work is a hybrid of traditional art methods and current CGI techniques. We have worked with CGI from its initial introduction, due to the benefits it offers in speed and quality in translating a concept into a visually rich finished state. This is as critical for us, as it is for our clients.

We combine any number of software solutions that "work" in the creation of our images. The main ones are Poser, Vue Esprit, Bryce, VectorWorks (CAD), InfiniD, Strata, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, in addition to hand drawing and painting techniques.

Lou Crockett is the Lead Creative of Lou Crockett Design. Following graduation with honors in Fine and Commercial Arts in Ontario, Canada, he began as an advertising department illustrator for a large Eastern Canada Newspaper, gaining valuable experience in dealing with deadlines.

Lou's current work includes illustrating manuals for high tech companies; designing conceptuals for motion picture industry VFX departments; and composing original music scores, illustrating, and animating for a wide variety of commercial and academic clients. He also practices and teaches martial arts, tours as a keyboardist (Hammond B3) with Blues and R&B bands, and performs as a semiprofessional magician.
